Why I Recommend
The preview feature is what makes this one practical rather than a gamble. You can look at recovered files before committing to the restore, so you’re not saving 40 GB of junk just to find the 3 files you actually needed. That alone saved me a lot of disk space and time on a recent job.
I also liked that it doesn’t force you into a single recovery mode. If you know roughly what happened (accidental delete, formatting, partition loss) you can point it at the right scenario and skip the generic full-drive scan. On a large SSD, that cuts scan time down by a real margin.
