The 3D toolset also got a meaningful upgrade, including the ability to import motion capture data to use as reference poses, and draw directly onto 3D models rather than treating them as a separate reference layer.

Animators get dedicated improvements too: color-coded layers and cels in the Timeline palette for better organization, and the ability to import audio recordings as a layer, even from mobile devices, for building short-form animated content with sound. New filters like Lens Blur and Crystallize round out the update, along with a magnetic lasso tool for faster, more precise selections.
