Why I Recommend
ShrinkWrap is the feature that solves a genuinely common headache in design-for-manufacturing work. Turning a messy or non-manifold mesh into something watertight and printable used to require bouncing into a separate mesh-repair tool. Having it built directly into Rhino keeps that step inside the same modeling session.
The Mac-specific interface investment is also worth noting, since a lot of professional CAD software treats macOS as an afterthought. Rhino 8’s rewritten Layer Manager and Metal-accelerated rendering on Mac put the platform on genuinely equal footing with Windows rather than trailing behind it.
