The centralized project data is what actually separates this from a folder full of separately built diagrams. Being able to update a value once and have it reflect across every linked tool in a project removes a real source of inconsistency in team-based quality improvement work.
The AIAG-VDA-compliant FMEA tool is a meaningful detail for anyone in automotive or manufacturing specifically. Building an FMEA that already aligns with the current industry standard, rather than retrofitting a generic template to match, saves real compliance headaches down the line.
